Muichiro actually adopted his brother’s personality after his brother’s death, as a way to honor his brother. Muichiro was the more extroverted, happy go lucky twin while his brother was more introverted

It was really sad, but the fact his entire family died I think really connects him to Tanjiro. They both only had their siblings left (even tho Mu lost his-) and I think that’s what the creator wanted, for us to connect the parallels.

Muichiro was one of my favorite hashira and finding out his backstory was heartbreaking! Yuichiro was just trying to protect his brother and while his actions didn't show that, he just wanted to protect his brother. That included protecting him from aname and trying to join the demon slayers since it was far more dangerous. It's saddening that he ended up dying, it's even more saddening that muichiro had to see and go through all he did.

Nah I cried for Muichiro's backstory The way his mother died hit too close to home for me, same reason why Rengoku's backstory hit me hard too and qhy i have such an emotional connection to him (team lost-a-mom due to illness 🥲👍🏾) But what Muichiro's name means; literal definition of "names have power" Great art as usual, and as for the next Hashira, its between Tengen and Giyu

Muichiro from has been my favorite since the first Hashira meeting. Watching him be lost in the clouds was relatable. And then i read the manga and got to this arc and i got to see him regain his memory UGH hes still my favorite character. His sass and wit in the battle are everything. I love his mist breathing style. His backstory was absolutely heart shattering. And the anime did such a good job with it. My favorite moments are when he gets the light in his eyes back whenever he remembered something ✨

What really got me was when ever they showed Yuichiro rotting and the maggots. And also the scene where Muichiro was on the brink of death when his family came and encouraged him and Yuichiro said “you’ve done well” (or something like that idk).

I loved Muichiro ever since I saw him in Season 1, and man did Season 3 break me. Some of my friends who read the manga told me that Muichiro and Mitsuri will be getting a Season next, and I was so excited! Although muichiros backstory is really sad and it would of been cool to see twin hashiras, I think that muichiro only had the will and strength to fight after his brother passed away because he got really mad at the demons, so in the end if both muchiro and his brother survived and they did become demon slayers they wouldn’t become hashiras or hashiras so quickly.
