I like to imagine that Luffy's second son holds his father in high regard and greatly respects his older brother, and absolutely hates pirates because they tarnish the image of his father and brother, so he becomes a Marine, Garp is ecstatic, but leaves his great-grandson to his own devices to see what he's capable of before actually taking him under his wing to train him, and in the mean time leaves him under Coby's command, or some other high ranking Marine that Garp respects/acknowledges, he's also got Dragon's personality, ie while his brother and father are easy-going and jolly, he's serious and much more mature

Name Propositions 2: The Squeakquel (based on drawing order): -Monkey D. Ace (Named after Luffy’s brother. After a run in with an evil pirate left him mute and traumatised, Ace began resenting his pirate family running away to join the Marines, knows sign language but uses it sparsely) -Boa Kikume (Named after the Japanese name for the chrysanthemum flower “Kiku” while “me” means bud, the chrysanthemum is a symbol of the sun in Japan which ties into Luffys nature as Joyboy, aka the sun god Nika. Older than Ace Jr. but younger than Joy, feels some pressure to be the next Kuja empress, which causes her a fair amount of anxiety, inducing stress eating, not helped by the bottomless stomach she inherited from her old man) -Mére (Named after the second part of Nami’s mothers name while her brother gets the first) -El (Named after Elbaf. Could also be named Val or Kyrie, after the mythic Valkyrie’s or named Brynhildr, meaning “ready for battle”. I wanted to have her name include the “-opp” like with Usopp but couldn’t think of anything. A better name is possible) -Roronoa Tsurugi (Name is also Japanese for “sword” like her brother Ken, who she looks up to quite a bit. I already named Yamatos son Tsurugi on my other comment but it suits the daughter better, so he can be Murakumo instead) -Vinsmoke Reiji (Rei meaning “zero” in Japanese, in keeping with the Vinsmoke family naming convention. Swollen face is due to getting beat up for perving on girls by his sister, who is the elder, and stronger, of the two) -Nico Saga (Named after the term for a long tale. The funny thing is that luffy's son has the goro goro no mi, which is completely countered by the gomu gomu no mi(or hito hito no mi, model nika), which means even if he surpasses his father he can't prove it, as he'll never be able to beat him.

Chopper’s kind of a weird situation. Would he have a normal reindeer as a child, or a human-reindeer hybrid child because of his devil fruit? Or maybe a Mink child if he were to end up with Milky? Amazing art as always! My thoughts: -It is now my headcanon that the first son you drew for Luffy and Boa has blue eyes now. Love this rendition of Buffy though and how much she favors Boa (even if she's got her dad's appetite LOL) -You just DON'T miss (pun fully intended) with Usopp's daughters! I like the first one a little more but this one gives me "older sister who def takes more after dad in his old days while the little sis is just the prodigy sniper" -Zoro and Hiyori daughter looks so good I wouldn't be shocked if that was official art someday. DAMN! *claps* -I am imagining Sanji's perverted son grows out his hair like that to cover a potential third eye? Hmmmm -Robin's son looks like someone from another series and I can't tell who LOL. Name concepts for all the characters here (except the last three for obvious reasons). Luffy's son, Monkey D. Hammock: A little bit of irony outta this one. Hammock was what Luffy used to call Hancock before finally figuring out her name. An obvious answer would be to name him after Ace but Luffy doesn't strike me as the kind of person to do that. To him, there would only be one Ace, and that's his brother. Luffy's daughter, Boa D. Ana: Ana short for Anaconda. I thought it was clever. Also with how Amazon Lily works, Ana would have to go live there with Hancock while leaving her brother behind as she would be the heir. Therefore she couldn't take on Luffy's "last" name. So shed have to take Hancock's. Nami's daughter, "Bellamere": betcha someone saw this coming. While Luffy wouldn't get caught in sentiments like naming a child off a passing family member, Nami definitely would, especially if it's her own mother. Usopp's Daughter, "Nola" or "Merry": Usopp once lied about being a descendant of Nolan, so it would be funny if that came around full circle to the point where he names his daughter after him. Otherwise Merry, as an homage to the former strawhat ship, "The Going Merry" works perfectly. Zoro's daughter, "Kuzuki Kuina": I personally doubt Zoro's the kind of person to name his child after a fallen friend, but I imagine Hiyori would think it's a good idea. Also the masks tipped off that Hiyori's the mother. She'd take the Kuzuki name because, bloodline. Sanji's daughter, "Flan": This one was the most difficult. At least until Franky's daughter. It was hard to find out who's name the child would take considering the parents difficult relationships with their family. Then it hit me, neither! Though not apart of the Charlotte family, keeping with the naming conventions of Big Mom's children felt like a good idea due to a lack of ideas for Sanji. Robin's son, "Nico Oda": didn't think I would name a kid after the writer did you? If it would have been anyone it was definitely gonna be Robin's. Plus it would be interesting to have Robin, who was so obsessed with the past that her dream was to read about a lost history, to have her son look to the future and want to write about a new generation Pirate Crew. Franky's Daughter, "Thomasina": As I said, this one was the hardest. Franky wasn't particularly close to many from his hometown. Not like Tom anyway (can't name her after his sisters cause one gets left out). So I thought, why not a girl Tom... I guess. Chopper's son, "Tony Tony Hiro": Remember Chopper's friend Hirolick. Yeah, me too. That's why his son's name is Hiro.

I would like Luffy's son to be a totally serious guy and to have the same immersion as katakuri, being a big man and confident despite his resentment of his family after witnessing a pirate attack, it would be really cool if he could have the Mochi fruit and evolve it further to a point where he was able to be in front of Nika, it would be a cool development, eventually maybe a part of the fanzine will join this idea.
