The important thing is..the artist is telling them ..I see you and you're appreciated and unique..well done.

Another great video! Couldn't help but cried tears of joy. These artists did it for the reactions...both from the reactions of the people and most importantly...the way that it makes a person feel to give something. There's no better feeling than giving whether it's love or something material...as long as it's given freely.🤔

@Terrilee Zink artists used to trade their art for meals and a bed in old inns. Now we're not so lucky. Still, once, I also traded a couple of months' worth of lessons in a Martial Arts/Body Build Gym. Underground bartering is what we'll be doing very soon if we don't want to get chip implanted. not to mention the magnetic pole shift we're already entering... hope you been prepping. Good luck for you all, too.

@jose marques I have to agree with you on that point. My daughter in law is a wonderful artist. My 3 grandchildren are almost or already a black belt in karate because she did all of the murals and art work for the dojo. Bartering and trading is what we need to be doing anyhow so that we're not dependent on govt. entities that don't give a rats ass about us. Good luck to you and may you walk in good health.🤔

yeah... artists need to earn a life, you know? unlike you say, many of these made those portraits by commission, to ask for some money after, or to try to please someone in particular. this world is made of more than feelings and it's a hard life for one who tries to make a living out of art.

There are a lot of truly talented people out there! The two that really effected me were the Swiss judges got made a fool of and the one where the old guy received a portrait of his beloved pooch! A thousand thumbs up!

The most touching thing about this is that they were for free. This touches ppl immensely. That one would care enough to take the time to do it, then to give it for free? THAT is priceless! Thank u for the video. Would be awesome knowing that person. Blessings falling everywhere he goes

In the year 2000 I was standing outside the post office in Narbonne, France. Across the street I spotted a young woman sitting with her back against a wrought iron fence, she had a sketch pad and was frantically drawing on the pad. Curious, I walked across the street and discreetly stepped behind her to take a gander. There it was --- a beautiful, large black and white portrait of a bloodshot eyeball.

I’m not convinced that he draws people on the subway that quickly. He probably takes a pic of them and gives it to them later because look at the detail, some of them are in color in great detail. Most people are on the subway for 5 to 7 minutes. I don’t deny the talent, I just don’t believe he draws them in real time on the subway
Umair BaigАй бұрын
so he takes a pic, draws them, and then catches the same people in the subway at a later time wearing the same clothes and in same poses as they were when he took their picture?

Such a shame people had to receive such stunning artwork of themselves but having a mask covering their face. Just seeing how much intimacy these artists are able to first see in people, and then manage to capture it on to the paper is what is really special. But then seeing the way the mask is imposing itself so strongly in severing and blocking that intimacy, disconnecting them from the outside world, keeping the world from seeing the person, and shutting the person out from the world is what really effected me watching this... Was really depressing...

KZbin is so hard on my emotions. Before watch this I watched one on “instant Karma” in which some men were filmed trying to kick dogs on the streets. This made me VERY angry and made me hate humans. Then I watched this one of painting/ drawing strangers and it brought tears of happiness to me. People can be amazingly kind and loving. I am really not going to sleep well tonight, my head is spinning. 😢😂❤

it's nice to draw people, but it would be nicer for those people to understand that talent and work have a price. Unfortunately, the industry like this and many other random ones suffer because people have gotten used to not rewarding them at their true value.
