I know this is a bit of a weird comment, but I really wish they'd gone with you or someone with a similar art style for the anime. You manage to keep the basic character traits of Kaneki (round eyes, even hair, etc.) while incoperating a cell-shading esque coloring that would've been perfect for the anime!

+Rinshuu For some reason, in the anime, Kaneki just looked like a completely different person after his hair turned white. Like in the first season he always had really big, round eyes, but in the second season, they just changed that to make him look like more of a badass or something. What I did like was the colour of his hair. Just completely white, whereas some of the fan drawings would show him with grey hair.

a lot of people do like sharing art they find, but thats actually really rude/hurtful to a lot of artists? especially when there is no credit or link back to the original artist (and "cred to artist" doesn't do a thing; good job now we know an artist drew this art - __ -) sharing art is only beneficial if you ask the artist first for permission to upload their art and give proper credit~! if you don't have permission or know of the original artist, don't upload it! if you do, you're literally stealing someone else's work. for example if person A wrote a book but person B took that book without person A's permission and gave the book to a bunch of other people without saying person A wrote it, that's not good for person A, the creator. in this case, Phyrokun didnt know it was uploaded on instagram, so if on instagram anyone said it was nice art, they never know. and if the instagram post didn't credit phyrokun, thats a lot of people who don't know Phyrokun was the artist, and Phyrokun's hard work is gone to waste (thats a lot of exposure lost)! please reconsider if you ever think of uploading someone else's work without permission and credit ! and if you do see someone else's work being uploaded without credit and permission, do not like/comment/support the reposted art! just report it, or ask the poster to credit the original artist! (sorry long bc art theft is really a big problem, especially on social media like pinterest and instagram and people need to know it's not okay) TL;DR don't upload other's art without permission and credit! it's bad for the artist and community !

ruby yoo This is so true. As an artist too, I get extremely hurt when people upload my works without my consent. Heck, some even have the guts to claim it as their own. I wish they understood the hard work and effort we put into making our art, we don't just do it with some kind of magic. Acknowledgment and appreciation is the least you can do to make an artist feel more confident with their art, and keep them motivated! :)
