Thank You for Your every video and every creation of Yours. It pushed me into starting doing faceups and I started collecting dolls, something that I wished to do for a long time now. Every day, while I wait for new video on friday, I rewatch my favourite uploads of Yours like Fluttershy repaint or Japan hauls with copics and other stuff. It all is extremely inspiring but not owerwhelming and while I look up to You and Your work it leaves me with feeling that practice is key that opens every door. I follow some other faceup artists and doll collectors, but only You leave me with impression that all You do is pure will to create something beautifull and not some maniacal want of having something (as werid as it sounds...) . 4:10 Oh yeah, that's definitely me. I love drawing and I'm getting better everyday, but my family insists I go outside more instead of drawing all the time. Nice to know that, despite being so awesome at art and doll repaints, you are still very much human like us ^-^

Your story with art is exactly like mine! I used to draw a lot but then I discovered all those artists online and just felt too overwhelmed and lost pleasure in drawing. It's been 3 years and I've been drawing but it was a lot, lot less... I still long for the day when I'll feel pleasure when I draw...I miss that so much...

I love SAI. But I also use CG Illust 2 (an oldy but a goody) and I do use photoshop a lot, but not for drawing...I'll use it for the end details sometimes (it has more features) but I mostly using it for editing photos and making collages and other random things (it's good for pixel art.)

If you're not into Barbie, you might like her little sister Skipper (early-mid 1960s era).. Of course an original NRFB Skipper can get expensive, but if you're repainting/rerooting anyway you could get a beat up old Skipper pretty inexpensively.

What kind of cat? Easy, Savannah Cat ^.^ their markings are sooo gorgeous, and their behavior is interesting too, wild, yet domestic, and they are soo tall and lean.

There is no such thing as "drawing too slow" you draw and create at your own pace. Its the oldest example in the book but Leonardo Da Vincci (probably spelling that wrong) would take months to almost years on his paintings and they were master pieces. Don't ever feel like you need to rush something c8!

This style is much more draining on my body than chibis, that is why I don't do it often. Plus I need to be mindful how much I draw in my free time since I do it as a profession as well and need to take care of my wrist, back and shoulders. So usually my off days are the time where I let my body recover from drawing at work :) I may do pieces like this occasionally, but chibis are much more time/stress and health friendly.
