You know what would help.... indicating if that's 2mg of semaglutide...

Thank you! Or how many ML’s
@ooommm4024 Жыл бұрын
the bottle is labeled on how many milligrams of semaglutide per mL it contains. then with simple math, you can convert that to the dose your doctor ordered for you. you can also ask your pharmacist on how much to draw up in your syringe.

If you ever see a doctor/nurse/caregiver touch the tip of the needle to the metal rim of the bottle (like you see in this demonstration video), don't let them inject you. That needle is blunted, and it's gonna hurt.
@lincosisbreeze92298 ай бұрын
I’m pretty sure it was a mistake in this demo if you meant before piercing the vial. The needle won’t become that blunt from doing this, though of course wouldn’t suggest due to other reasons if in office. The tip isn’t like the point of a knife, it’s all components of the needle that dull when puncturing that can lead to pain. Also bluntness isn’t as big of an issue with insulin needles due to their size. They’re meant to be used blunt. Outside of mishaps when injecting, which shouldn’t be an issue with Sema for example really, any noticeable pain you feel is from having a foreign sharp object entering your body. Ex: If you meant the proximity of the puncture to the metal rim, this also isn’t an issue due to the way vial stoppers are made.

If using the standard mixing of 5mg of Semaglutide with 2ml of bacteriostatic water, the dose would be 96 units.

That's what I've been trying to figure out. I am prescribed .50 and can't figure out where to fill it to. The 5 is the very first number and that looks way too little and the 50 seems like way too much.

I have this same issue. Why prescribe a syringe measured in units and semuglutadine for 0.5 ML’s?? I am so confused and it does seem like a lot.

@@shannonreeser5865 Hi, I'm having the same question. Did you figure it out? None of the youtube videos address the 50 unit syringe. I'm also prescribed .50...and provided with the 50 unit syringe.

Ok y'all, I'm going to admit to being the dumbest person on the planet :p I have been injecting .25 ml for 4 weeks. Today I realized the medication isn't going down in the vial very much. It's hard to see inside the vial because of the sticker that goes around it. Anyway, I checked the syringe after I filled it and...it was empty. Yep, I've been injecting basically NOTHING for the past 4 weeks! Somehow I lost 6lbs but it wasn't from the semaglutide. No wonder I haven't had any side effects. What a dipshit I am.

@meanpeoplesuck43552 ай бұрын
@@JenTriesThings it has 100 on it so it’s easy to measure out what I need. Well, easy if I could get the med into the syringe 😂 I debated about sharing but figured it may help someone else.
