One thing I find interesting is hybrids that have flawed abilities due to the hybridization. One Oc I got is Deep-Diver a Nightwing-Seawing hybrid and one very large dragon for his age. His problem though is that he has firebreath and gills, and if he breathes more than a quick puff of flame he backfeeds smoke into his gills sending him into a coughing fit as his respiratory system flips out and his gills don't work anywhere between 15 minutes and an hour after a backfeed depending on how bad it was.

@@ChloeHatler Ya he is one of my favorites. He is a huge dragon that is normally quite the softy though. But if he needs to use his strength,he has plenty to spare. He once picked up a mudwing bandit,one that was a bigwings, by the tail and tossed the guy somewhere between six to eight times the length of said mudwing. Seawings are also know for how extremely hard their tails can slap someone,scale that up to Deep's size and he starts breaking backs if he slams his tail down on someone. But he prefers his scrolls,and his cooking and just generally being a helpful guy.

Few days late BUT fun fact about RainWings- RainWings are indeed related to LeafWings as stated by Tui herself, so the plant manipulation kind-of makes sense if you look at it from a certain perspective. Anyways, I actually just found your channel today and I am loving what I'm seeing!!

I love the duality in the gems representing NightWings and IceWings - truly such similar opposites in so many ways; it makes sense their gems would be a similar story. I will admit though; the pictures of yellow jasper made me think of HiveWings first - am I crazy, or would it also be fitting for them?

Hey, this art is incredible and all of the designs are awesome! Just wanted to point out that the neck on Phoenix is filled in with teal on one picture but gold on the others. A small coloring mistake, I make them all the time 😅

Starcaller reminds me of a character in a book series im writing, its not based on wof so they arent called the same things. She is also a sand and night hybrid, her name is Dusk and she also enjoys the desert and stargazing, she uses the stars to find her way, she enjoys watching the night sky, and writing books and stories, and singing.

Phoenix looks like he should be called kingfisher, the colours remind me a lot of those birds. Also StarCaller looks a lot like an oc I made a long time ago, I forgot her name but the designs were pretty similar, except she had like a military galaxy streak on each underside of her wing that moved around and rotated

something ive noticed about wings of fire hybrids is that their mothers tribe seems to be always the most dominant? not sure if this was intentional

That wasn't intentional, however it's a neat thing to point out! I've read somewhere that with WoF hybrids, the mother's traits are usually more dominant, however I could be wrong.
