Speaking of people trying to sneakily take advantage. I had a "commission" a couple years back for a concert poster. The promoter wasn't liking the direction, couldn't tell me what he didn't like, and hadn't paid me yet. He had me do 3 revisions before asking for my psd file. I pulled off the job after that obviously. People will neg you in the art world, and nobody should put up with it. Always know your worth. I love these videos Dave, thanks for taking the time!

hello, i have one question, i am using your dg main brush on ipad in procreate, but mine lines are not smooth as yours... what am doing wrong? i am using full hd resolution of canvas but its still looks bad :D your lines are so smooth , maybe its just in my hand and i need practise

man, I always had doubts about the amount of force you put in your pen and how much control you have over it, can you also show in the next video the wacom tablet properts and show how much control you have in pressure? and thanks for all the videos!

Guys please check out Dave's Brushes, they are amazing! I've been using them since the first day he put them out way back when. I use them almost everyday. He's an absolute legend! p.s - This is not a promotion, I just love what Dave does and what he constantly does to inspire us all! :D

Thank you for this. I realize that my time and talents are worth something but, unfortunately, my husband does not. He is always suggesting that I do work for free as a favor or because it's family or friends. I wouldn't charge my family and friends what the project would be worth just for the materials I would use. But even then, he wants me to eat the full cost. It's hard to justify doing things for anyone other than myself.

I think that it's super unfortunate that places like Fiverr exist. I've seen some cheap art prices from someone in a less wealthy country. These are talented artist that should be charging a lot more for what they do. It causes others think they need match those prices
