Also a little trick, you can de-tack you paper by taping it to the table a couple of times and lifting it, prior to taping down you paper. This will reduce the tackiness, but still be effective and less likely to tear your paper ;)

I love her!!! I speak Dutch and ‘plakkaatverf’ is the Dutch word for a tempera paint or poster paint, wich is similar to gouache paint. I love these type of videos because you use all types of art supplies! It gives me so much motivation and inspiration during An art block. Thank you so much for your positive channel!

the first painting looked a lot like the snowy icy slush you'd find in the artic circle. Maybe with more tropical blue waters instead of freezing depths, but it's definitely still ice and snow. The second painting gave me more "astronaut floating among the clouds and looking down on earth" vibes. Like an album cover concept art for an alternative band. Freehanding nature from memory is super hard and to do it with paint is a sign of some serious guts. Great job!

“Plakkaatverf” is Dutch for gouache, you pronounce it PL[I-sound, but without the i if you would write this as [AAI] and short]K[the same sound but longer]TV[the a from back, short]RF. Don’t know if that makes sense haha
