Agree. Competitive ! Arrogance yes. They almost all finished together and needed super sophisticated instrument to see whose nose was ahead. When the difference is in thousands of seconds ( order of error of instrument ) then both should be given gold. So you could say he was lucky on the day and the other day was unlucky as simple as that rather than make a song and dance about it. To me it appears that swimmers are on more friendly terms with each other before and after the races than the track and field guys.
