Edinburgh a great city. Easily walkable, great little shopping streets and very hospitable people Castle built on the weathered central plug of a long extinct volcano.

Cool Castle! That's neat why they fire that cannon every hour & how tight the quarters were fro the prisoners. I never knew about the witches well, that's fascinating too. Thanks for touring & some historical info on the castle, it's great to learn about the history of places like this.

I like touring these places and considering how great we have it now compared to back then. Living in or around that castle at the time it was built must’ve been difficult.
