Drayton Manor Pirate Adventure POV
Pirate Adventure was Drayton Manor's large indoor boat ride, which had obviously taken more than a little inspiration from Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean. Riders would board boats in the nicely themed station, which would then turn a corner before descending a small drop, splashing into the main ride area.
I am full profoundly deaf. My first language is British Sign Language (BSL), so when I upload the videos I will sign with the subtitles on so you guys can understand what I say.
I love great atmosphere outdoors than sit home bored, like doing adventure outdoor active, explorer different theme park and drawing theme park also love Disney park too

I went on this a couple of times when I was 3 and thought it was terrifying! Never rode it again. It looks like a 9/10 dark ride! RIP!

Such a shame that we lost this dark ride. Definitely one of the best in the UK and really added an extra reason to visit Drayton Manor. They still have The Haunting at least which is a fantastic Mad House in my opinion, second only to Hex at Alton Towers for the ones I've done, but Pirate Adventure for whatever reason always felt like it was on a much more grand scope than the other dark rides on park like The Haunting and Wild West Shoot Out (which luckily got the update treatment too as it was awful before becoming Sherrif's Showdown). Was lucky enough to snag a rum jar for myself at the Drayton Manor auction though, so at least I've still got a piece!

@@nukedukem6 *One* of the best. We have Valhalla at Blackpool Pleasure Beach (Golden Ticket Award's 'worlds best water ride' winner in 2015, 2018 and 2019) and Hex: The Legend of the Towers at Alton Towers which are both considered some of the greatest dark rides ever built.

@@1996Coaster go on the haunted mansion, the pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana jones temple of the forbidden eye, and the tower of terror, then report back to me so has the best rides.

@@nukedukem6 I've been on Tower of Terror (Orlando) and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (again, Orlando) and they're pretty good, but trying to compare dark rides like Pirates Adventure or Hex to completely different dark rides like Tower of Terror or Indy is ridiculous. The irony that you suggest riding Pirates of the Caribbean too, a very similar ride to Pirates Adventure shows you need to ride a ride before commenting on its quality. Plus for what its worth I've found the best parks are in Germany

They didn’t maintain it. At least half the stuff in it didn’t work for years before they got rid of it. You don’t even wanna know what the staff got up to on this ride lol.
