It’s a two rod rule they they must have not read. When the fish are feeding, Drayton is insane. I went in July, I had 33 fish in 9 hours fishing over hemp and maize. Lots of hemp and maize. Went through 15kg, a lot cheaper than using boilies that’s for sure. They’re hungry fish, they’ll eat pretty much anything. Quantity is more important than quality. Keep feeding or they’ll bugger off.

Not guna lie mate was a few but nothing crazy !
@andygaskell44372 жыл бұрын
I know you weren’t asking me so my apologies if this is unwanted 🙏. I’ve fished Drayton quite a bit. The rats can be horrendous. It’s weird, you can be pestered with them or not see a single one (which I’ll admit is very rare). It’s made worse by the fact that they’re all around you. Whereas most places you’ll get the odd one run past, by the waters edge, at Drayton, you’re on boards so already past the waters edge. As a result, they come from under the boards from all angles. Always spill absolutely no bait. Not a grain of hemp. Don’t cook anything fatty like sausages. The pan you used will attract em. Even with every care and precaution they can be all around you. They’re worse when the water is higher. Much worse. I won’t fish it at weekends because it’s full of absolute morons. The worst of our sport all seem to go there. Midweek much better but they really should address the rats. If my club can afford bait stations in every swim on a larger water, Drayton certainly can at £25 per person. It’s the most rat infested place I’ve ever been to and by a very long way.

2 rod rule on Drayton. Inadvertently or not, there’s no need to cheat there. When the fish are feeding, 2 rods is more than enough and quite tricky to keep on top of.
@Parkerbaits2 жыл бұрын
Wouldn’t call it “cheating” Andy… the bailiffs kindly said as it’s quiet we could fish three rods.
