As someone who has been in serious pain and who sees a chiropractor regularly, these adjustments are life savers! At least in the short term they can help. Good habits are the long term solution though. But watching a chiropractor work it looks like they are trying to kill you, literally, but they really are helping a lot!

Do some research. Dogs mouths aren't clean at all - it's an absolute myth that keeps being circulated. Most of their germs are simply incompatible with ours, but that doesn't make their mouths any less filthy. Kissing a human or kissing a dog, you're going to get an equal amount of germs, but I know for a fact that any human I kiss hasn't ever licked their own asshole on the reg.

Lot of talk about the profession in this one and I agree about the ratio of mediocre chiropractors to good ones. I think Dr. Hightower is probably the best of the best - his knowledge of anatomy is amazing and he has a ton of experience. One indicator I see is that, if there is no stretching and soft tissue work they're probably not a great chiropractor. The cracks feel great but it's really all about the muscles. That's why I like this channel - this is chiro by someone who really understands the "why".

good advice and analysis starting around the 24:00 mark going to 25:30. I thought chiropracty was charlatanism up until my mid-30s when I actually needed it without knowing so. After giving it another chance, it cured the problems I had at the time and it continues to do so now. It is good seeing the extended and plenary attention Beau gives to his patient. I wish chiropractors I've had would give similar attention. Usually it is just $60 to $90 paid for 5 to 15 minutes of attention.

22:52 A very mature and balance assessment of chiropractic and professionals in general. I agree, most folks are average, some are excellent and some are poor. The issue with professionals may also be 1) few people know the signs of an excellent doctor vs a weak one, 2) Many professionals are judged on communication and how they make a patient feel. The issue is that many malpractice issues are seen in offices that are run like a nice business. Why? It seems that those places are the best marketed, but it isn't clear if that correlates with good patient care. Sometimes good care means saying "no" to patients, and those docs may actually be the ones patients complain about! Also, some folks just keep under the radar and manage to make it to the next step. Licensing and exams are about minimal competence, not excellence.
