After replacing the screen on my SP4, everything was fine for about 2 weeks, the screen then decided to randomly show white and black lines, and eventually no power the screen. Unplug the screen from the motherboard and plug it in again, works for a bit and same issue. When the screen eventually is black and I use a secondary monitor, Windows does not detect the inbuilt screen, so I'm guessing no power the the screen. Changed the screen and the flex cable, and still getting the same symptoms, sometimes the screen works, sometimes it does not. Any ideas? I should add, when I added the third screen, accidently blew the battery Diode which I have now changed, but still the same issue with the screen. Thanks in advanced!

I got exactly the same issue. Can I fix battery connectors somehow or do I need to replace the battery? It a bit odd, that battery goes off after when the screen was replaced.

Hi, I have surface book 1 i5 8GB/128GB, When I insert the plug into the Charging Port, the white light comes on When I press the power button, the laptop does not turn on. I can't disconnect the screen from the keyboard either. When I press the Surface's Eject Button, the light turns red. When I press the power button and hold down the volume up button, after a dozen or so seconds, the red light from the Surface tablet's disconnect button lights up once. Dear colleagues, what is the reason why I can't turn on surface book1 ?

Hi, I have a surface pro 4 with no working touchscreen. on bios it appears as firmware 0.0.0.0 and changing digitizer board do not help. What could be? Mainboard hardware or bios ?

Hi I have a surface pro 4 that BSOD randomly with Whea Uncorrectable error, in windows it's almost every 20 minutes, sometimes immediately so it's not a heating issue. I INSTALLED Ubuntu and it's more stable but I get a freeze at least every 4 hrs in Ubuntu, any tips or ideas

@@germancarfan I have and both passed, the shutdowns are much less with Cloudreadys chrome, but also with less functionality, I don't know what to do to understand the problem..
