This is why Dr. Wondertainment is my absolute favorite POI. His motives are absolutely clear. He is one hundred percent genuine. There's no malice. No intent to cause trouble or harm. He genuinely, enthusiastically, likes children and wants to make incredibly special, amazing things for their delight and wonder and enjoyment. He just gets so excited about an idea that he doesn't always think completely through how there could be resulting dangers. For instance, Custom Pets: When you place the egg, in a good loving human home, in a place a child plays, you get for sure something harmless and adorable, exactly the unique pet for you to love and cherish. You get EXACTLY what was promised, and that is what Dr. W intended. But the more wild or hostile or neglectful the environment, the less cute and more dangerous the resulting pet. That is NOT what Dr. W intended. It's something he didn't even think about... because by baseline he assumes all children have happy loving homes, so as a problem.he didn't think about it. As for the eggs resulting in wierd and hostile animals in wild, dangerous environments... the eggs were never meant to hatch in those environments at all. They're clearly intended to be house pets, and the instructions tell the user to TAKE THEM HOME as part of the instructions of hatching. The idea of someone hatching them randomly out in the woods never occurred to Dr. W, either. The fact all his products have the EXACT SAME legal disclaimer, even if the products have to be actively misused to the point Wondertainment can't possibly be responsible for resulting harm to be dangerous, is telling he simply doesn't really think about potential issues.
@cappuccinocappy2 жыл бұрын
Yeah! Even with the pets that we already have here on earth , there are instructions how to care for it , if you neglect it or even abuse it it turns aggressive as well since it only tries to survive . I do believe this is something like a nurture thing ,the better you keep that egg in a good environment the better the outcome is for you and the custom pet.

I kinda headcanon that no matter how menacing or horrifying the pet is when it hatches, it still remains loyal to its human. Like a Pokemon.

Okay, this is one of those entries that you just wish wasn’t locked down! A creature influenced by it’s environment making each one different. Tried not to make the reference but you could end up with an SCP Pokémon right here. Researchers running around trying to contain these well children fight them to see who has the best! I mean wondertainment did give you a package of them when one should be enough. Okay think I overthinking this …

Good to see scp's that have some... laws behind it. I mean it is not just this scp is euclid because, or keter for resons are, but rather effects differ from condition and situation. And, ofc, good to see some non apocalyptic, devilish or evil like scps.

SCP 1550 is one of the least hostile things Wondertainment has created and one of the most genuinely good It's not his fault that kids put the eggs in silly, stupid or irresponsible places
@azzzne2 жыл бұрын
Quite interesting a scp that comes from eggs. Well it becomes adapt to where u place it. And that's even more dangerous. Thank u Dr. For letting us know

Am I not the only one who thinks that the daughter and mom look like Mei from Turning Red and Riley’s mom from Inside Out? Also great video as always!! 🤩

Man Dr Bob loves Pixar references. I can believe Mei from Turning Red, and Riley's Mother from Inside Out.

I second the idea of Dr Bob taking in the excess specimens. They could become future easter eggs in his office scenes!
@prussiandudeidk2 жыл бұрын
some examples are the girl from turning red,the desert pet as a pokemon reference,and also one of the pet managers like one is from big hero 6
@sonicgen202 жыл бұрын
Wait, I don’t think they have this one a class. But if I had to wager a guess, while still in their egg packages they’re considered safe class. But the hatched specimens would probably range between safe and euclid depending on its born environment and how it adapted.

"What kind of universe is he trying to sell these in where this could be a pet?" Well, he probably didn't make them *intending* for researchers to put it in a simulated deep ocean. The egg just adapted in a way it would've survived.
