I think I was 16 when I baught their first albums & fell in love with them, now I'm 43. VDTF is a great piece of music! I'm not a big Fan of Aegis but live it sounds much better. I never made it through the newer ones but I think I'll give em a try again.

This is great music. I have not listened to Theatre of Tragedy before, which is unfortunate - but better late than never. I like the balance in between instruments and sounds (keyboards are used very well) and the dynamics in the songs.

Recuerdo cuando escuché Venus por primera vez, era muy tarde en la noche y estaba haciendo el útlimo trabajo práctico para la carrera, quedé inoptizado por la voz de Liv. Para mi, fue y será la mejor cantante del metal. Nell le quedó muy bien a la banda también.

Such a great band.. Back in 95 when they introduced female vocals they took so much heat (at least in my country)... female vocals in that genre were not really appreciated at the time - full on aggression mode was on.

I've been a ToT fan since the beginning, I literally grew up with their music. This is just equally wonderful and painful to watch. Kudos to Raymond for sticking with the growls. Authentic!

Nell sings pretty cool! In a different way as Christine, but she definitely fits the TOT style - she has a nice powerful voice, can sing loud and completely stressless.

ToT were true innovators, always ahead at their time. And they kept innovating. I miss them. I wish they added at least one song from Assembly in the concert. Probably not their best, but was still a great album and the sound production of it was amazing. I would have been nice to see it represented on the setlist.

Dziwnie się to ogląda po wielu wiekach ;) Nawet nie wiedziałem, że Liv już z nimi nie śpiewa. Ta laska, ma podobną barwę i podobnie śpiewa, jak Liv, ale jakoś tak...bardziej miauczy? No i, jak powiedział kiedyś wielki, chiński filozof - metale powinni mieć długie włosy, albo wcale ;P Niby słyszę, że to ten sam wokal, ale gdy go widzę, no to...haha, no fajny koncert :) Bardzo fajny! :) Ale chyba wolałbym tego słuchać, niż oglądać ;) Mimo wszystko szkoda, że się rozpadli.

DAMN! That was awesome. I lost interest in Theater of Tragedy when "Musique" came out. It just wasn't for me. I LOVED the first two albums. I loved the music in "Aegis" but didn't care for the change in his vocal style. ALL of these songs sounded great live. Even the songs from the albums I didn't care for. I think I need to check out their last album.
