Outstanding piece of work! Reminds me a lot of the movie “Sinister” where the demon must be passed down by any form of visual art or even the most basic drawings. When it starts to happen in the modern day it becomes video and he’s seen on the tapes where his children who he’s taken are committing heinous crimes and you can barely see him in the picture. Without those images his legacy dies. Much like the Mist Man, simply knowing of his existence is enough to perpetuate his evil. And as I said in another comment, the author really went to great lengths to detail the killings and make them as visceral as I’ve ever seen/heard/been exposed to. The images in my head are so grotesque that made it almost impossible to continue listening! However with the Dr at the helm I couldn’t just walk away. For I fear that he may have felt just as disturbed as I was. Maybe not, but I certainly cant imagine that it was an enjoyable experience! All of that aside this was a great story. With some really good twists and I suppose I was given my answer to my initial question. Why him? Now I know and I totally agree with his choice to end his existence. If for only to avoid witnessing more vile things conducted by the misty apparition. Well done good Dr! As once again and without fail you delivered this story of absolute horror in fine style that only you possess the ability to do! Thank you for your dedication and time invested for our entertainment!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
