Your videos are immeasurable and transforming unlike many negative videos by so called life coaches who scaremonger and create negative information! You work tirelessly to dispell common myths surrounding this traumatising illness/disorder. The world needs more understanding. Only with understanding can we dispell myths and inaccurate biased opinions! ✌️

Your work has been instrumental in my healing process and I greatly appreciate you being such an asset to BPD folk. I am proud of myself. But... I know I'm splitting. I'm not to the point where I can accept myself, and others. It's like I have a slot with room for me, or the "rest". But it's taken me a long time for me to even start to like myself. So I'm calling it a win overall.

hello! I myself do not have this but a loved one who does so I have been wanting to learn and understand as much as I can and that is how I stumbled upon your channel, which has been very informative and comforting to me so thank you. this isn't directly linked to this but since this is the latest video, it may have a better chance of being seen. my loved one question recently split on me, first time to my knowledge, I genuinely have no idea what I did but that's besides the point. I am willing to work on any issues they may have with me, but the thing is, they feel some things about me have changed permanently in their mind. that makes me worry any attempts on my end may end up being futile (I will still try though, when I feel the time is right) but it has made me wonder, how someone can even tell if it's permanent? I am not invalidating their feelings, not for a moment, I'm sure it does feel very finite, I suppose I'm just hopeful that's not the case. if it had been years sure, but it has only been a few weeks and we have not yet properly spoken to each other since before the split (they are an internet friend, so I only see them when they are online, I have been getting updates from a mutual friend)

Reduce stigma = don't hold anyone accountable for their behavior? It's stigmatized for a reason. Just as psychopaths, narcissists and histrionics are too.
@sarahs4135 ай бұрын
It's VERY difficult to tell others that I have BPD due to the stigma even though I'm much better than I was when it was ripped out of remission a few years ago. The moment it's heard I have it, the more others act like I have the plague.
@DrDanielFox5 ай бұрын
It's unfortunate that stigma still surrounds mental health conditions like BPD. Keep focusing on your well-being and the people who understand and support you.

@@DrDanielFox Thank you so much for your words of encouragement . It truly means a lot. I've worked HARD on going through trauma therapy, a full DBT course of counseling, W.R.A.P. course of counseling, working with an employment counselor, etc for several years. That stigma is still there so all I can do is my best and revisit assignments and videos when I'm seeing an area that needs tended to. Thank you SO much. I needed that.
