The only way to get through is trust and lean on God. I lost my wife and best friend of 45 years in 2021. It's not easy, and sometimes, as with me, it is the hardest thing I ever had to do. Just remember, the only scars in heaven belong to the one holding your husband. God is our hope, and I promise you, trust God and you will see your husband

Hi I also struggle my husband died 4 years ago qfter battling cancer, I m totally lost without out the comfort I have is knowing he is with Jesus and the closer I get to Jesus the closer I get to my husband as well I remember everyday to try to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus and somehow it's now 4 yrs on my man is waiting for me I try to reach as many people with the gospel because one day soon we will all be together forever praying for you

I have been listening to your sermons for several years and have had my eyes opened to many things that I knew but didn't fully understand. God has always shown us through His example. Love is the key to everything else. "God is love...For God so loved the world (us) that He GAVE..." As you stated, love is nor a feeling but it is a verb. Love is your giving of yourself to others. God's example of love was His giving of His son to create an escape from our justified punishment we had chosen by our rebellion. He sacrificed that which was most treasured by Him to provide us with an escape path by choosing the path presented by Him for us. So simple yet so problematic when we get in the way ourself causing us to stumble while we are on that path.

To all of you who love B-ball.. . . . Imagine, if Caitlin Clark just joined the WNBA, just to be ordinary. That team would still be at the bottom. Instead, her disciplines , talent, and dedication to the game, brought the "Fever" players into the Joy of excellence and up to the top of the league standings. So it is when we, emboldened by the Holy Spirit, share the excellence of Christ within the Body of Believers . Clark's disciplines in ball handling, is a metaphor for having discipline to learn to better use the Word of God for our daily life, (think putting on the full Armor of God to be in the world)

The friends of Jesus: Jesus’ friends are those who know he speaks of his Father. Jesus said “for all things that I have heard of my Father, I have made known unto you” (John 15:15). The question now becomes: are we Jesus’ friends? A true friend would never twist the words of their friend and then call them a liar. If so, this person is not a friend-but an enemy. Jesus always points us to the Father, but man says this is a lie and that Jesus himself is God. Jesus said I will show you plainly of the Father (John 16:25-27). His disciples were his friends, as it is written “now are we sure that you came forth from God” (John 16:30). It was then that they knew without any doubt Jesus is God’s son, prophet, and servant (Matthew 12:18). Now they can know both God the Father, and Jesus-personally and individually (John 17:3). This is the only way to be *saved.*
