I grew up "Christian" in the 80s & 90s in Lancaster county PA surrounded by lots of Christians, but I was NEVER taught about BEING a Christian. In 1999 at the age of 23 I denounced the Lord altogether. I spent the next 23 years vehemently opposing Christianity. In 2021 someone gifted me a Bible. By that time my eyes were wide open to all the evil in the world and I wanted NOTHING to do with any of it. I started reading the Bible and I learned how to pray and by the Fall of 2021 I was a believer...I accept Jesus Christ as my savior and I knew that I was SO wrong for denying him for so long. Anyway, now I worry that I cannot be saved for denying the Lord for so long. This video gave me hope that I can be forgiven. 🙌✝️📚💕

I think you can find comfort in knowing that God knows the plans for you even before you were born. 🙂 You may have wondered in the wilderness for so long, denying him, but He knew when you were going to be given that Bible. Your heart was not so calloused that it did not feel some sort of conviction or you would not have picked up that precious book to hear and learn His word. Giving God all the Praise and Glory as You walk with Him in your new way of life. 🙌 Thank you for sharing your testimony as it can give others hope. 🙂 🙌🙏❤️✝️

I walked the same path as you my whole life up until last September. I'm 54 now and a believer. I've committed atrocities that would make you shudder. Jesus died on the cross and made himself a curse to pay the fine for our sins. He is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. He loves us and forgives us. Look up Derek Prince as well. I was suicidal for many years, and I attempted, seriously, multiple times. I was so sad that I couldn't be forgiven because I had others telling me that. I wore a locket containing the last 7 words of Christ around my neck in case I was either knowingly or unknowingly successful in an attempt. I felt that because I wanted to die so badly that I was willingly throwing away God's gift of my life. I don't know all of the reasons why God spared me and stopped me from dying, but I am grateful. I still struggle with pain, and the thought of attempting again but I was led to parts of the Bible where others struggled as well. The more I read, pray and stay in connection with Jesus, the more I know that that I am not walking through this alone. I know that God forgives me, and I hope that others will know that also. BTW, Louie Giglio has many sermons on true clinical depression. They explain it in a way that I have never heard explained. He went through it a few years ago. Amazing for anyone who wants more information on depression.

Growing up in a dysfunctional family, I learned not to trust anyone. Trusting Jesus has been very, very difficult for me, even though i had an incredible, unexplainable (except by God) spiritual experience, when the mad urge to drink and drug was completely removed & i was suffused with joy & peace. I pray for deeper faith daily, and His presence is felt in that i have never lost that sense of peace He gifted me with over 30 years ago!! Praise Jesus!! ❤🙏🙏❤

How can Jesús live with us if our thoughts and words don’t reflect the fruits of his spirit? I know I was good at holding my tongue and being a good example however I didn’t have what I knew I should have spiritually. And the Holy Spirit said to me, there’s no way Father can come upon you and sit with you when you still have resentment, self pity, judgment on my family, still try to explain reason for bad behavior (like what now that you understand why I have my bad behavior is it going to make that bad behavior more acceptable, that’s insane) That’s why you don’t have the relationship you want with Father. Your heart is still harboring fruits that DON’T COME FROM KING JESUS so he don’t want to sit with a heart so full of what he hates. When I really started to apply the fruits of the spirits in every situation that comes in life then I started to have the relationship I desired So much With my GOD AND KING. IF WE SAY WE BELIEVE IN THE SON OF GOD AND OUR MIND AND WORDS AND ACTIONS STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN WE DO NOT NO JESUS AND HE DON’T KNOW US.

I've lived in chronic, debilitating pain for over 30 years. I know your struggle. 😢 Jesus is the only reason I have been able to survive it. Pls get into a bible-believing church for support. I find when I stay close to the faith by reading my Bible, my eyes are opened to what He wants me to learn. I can honestly say that I cursed God after I was injured, but now I see The lessons He had in store, bringing me closer to Him. May He bless you, friend, by putting people in your path to help you.
