You are an amazing surgeon. 👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥 Sometimes we struggle because we are using a suboptimal instrument/device. I frequently use the newer version of the Malyugin ring. It’s so easy to insert and fix into the pupil. I did a similar case this week, I recommend to try it!!

Excellent video Dr Megur. In small pupil/dense cataract cases like this I use cohesive visco first, then pupil ring or iris retractors, then remove visco and stain the capsule with trypan blue, THEN use dispersive to fill the AC. Yes it is alot of extra steps and uses more visco, but I find it easier and less stressful.

Dear Dr. Deepak Megur, when I see such a situation, without wasting time, I immediately put in iris retractors! 1st, you dilate the pupil and hold the capsular bag, do FEC, and then you can put in the ring!

Уважаемый Dr. Deepak Megur когда я вижу такую ситуацию, не теряя времени ,сразу ставлю ирис ретракторы ! 1-е ,вы расширяете зрачок и держите капсульный мешок ,делаете ФЭК , а кольцо и потом можно поставить!
