Calm under pressure, and having patience to strike at the right moment. He's also incredibly mechanically gifted. Not the best aim in the game, but movement players have such insane awareness of movement and space that they're playing 4D Chess moves within nanoseconds.

ive ran into Lamic once and he had the original default Wattson skin equipped at the time. I made the mistake of thinking it was a new player because of that, and im just going to say, my life quite literally flashed before my eyes LMFAO. half of the time I was taking damage, I couldn’t even see him. it’s like I was in a 1v2 but I spectated him immediately after and he was most definitely alone. beautiful learning experience for sure

To answer doc's question, If you ever watch his stream, he literally challenges himself to play the same building over and over and over for hours until he masters the movement within that building. He doesn't "know" where the enemy is either, but he has created routes that expose the enemies flanks and he can capitalize on it using his movement

The movement community has pushed this game even further since then, Aceu doesnt even use techs such as superglide, mantlejump etc in that gameplay. Hes really good when it comes to apex but there are some even more impressive absolute demons in the movement community of apex

If you have a KD above 2, play duos on console. You'll get matched with pubstompers that would fucking eat preds alive. Source: I am one. I solo to diamond/master pretty consistently and I think I'm top 10 for kills on octane this season. Duos is literally harder than any game mode. Forget pred ranked, I can do decent in there but holy fuck the amount of times ive just gotten blasted in duos is insane. I usually play trios cause i need those kills lmao
