Swift Carrera 194 - Review of the 2024 Model

This is a full review of our brand new 2024 plate Swift Carrera 194 campervan, courtesy of AEG Motorhomes in Stourbridge, April 2024. Based on a Fiat Ducato 2.2 diesel 140bhp 9 speed automatic.
We chose this model over the others (122, 184 etc) because of the large rear storage area with lashing points as we have a large dog that travels with us. We also prefer having fixed mattress rather than having to buy / store a mattress topper if we had the lounge conversion model. The Carrera range is also fitted to an extremely high spec, with items included already in the price such as the awning, fog lights and the dealer did us a discount which meant the automatic add-on was in effect for free.
Other facts I forgot to include in the video: this is a 3 berth campervan: double in the rear, with a single bed conversion with the 2 seat-belted seats in the front plus lowering the table down. The van is full of USB A and USB C connection points and plenty of 3 pin sockets throughout. There's no spare tyre on this vehicle, just a puncture repair kit. Fresh water tank is 93 litres, waste water is 53 litres and water pump carries 8 litres when primed.

Hi, fellow 194 owner here. One thing to look out for is the condensate pipe from the fridge. Ours had been left resting on the floor under the cabinet base. Some significant temperature changes and we ended up with damp carpet and bottoms of base units. Unscrew the six screws holding the wardrobe base panel, lift up and check where the pipe is. Should be routed to the underside of the van so any condensate escapes. It appears there are other 194s with the same issue which is a shame as apart from that the van has been great.
