CANOPEE - maiden call in Bremen - rocket transport Ariane

On the way to the Neustädter Hafen in Bremen on Tuesday morning, the newest transport ship for the European aerospace company Ariane-Space, the “Canopee”, passed the Bremerhaven skyline.
The Marseille-based “Canopee” is the first commercial sailing cargo ship and was recently christened in Bordeaux, France. In the future, the “Canopée” will transport the fairing and the individual stages of the Ariane 6 launch vehicle.
The ship travels between the ports of Bremen, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Bordeaux and Pariacabo at the space center. The "Canopée" is intended to transport all stages and subassemblies of the rocket in one trip. Payloads should also be transported.

Klasse, du hast den Segelfrachter ja doch noch erwischt, interessantes Schiff mit den Segeln, ich konnte sie Höhe Brake bei sehr dunklen Wetter aufnehmen. Gruss DiFoo

Nice movie taken from a nice ship, contracted in Holland, hull built in Poland, outfitting and commissiong at the shipyard of Neptune in Hardinxveld (near Rotterdam). Wingsails placed close to the factory of the wingsail (Ayro) in Caen (France)

Ah, erwischt, auch wenn keine Ariane an Bord war… ob‘s das mit den Segeln bringt? Ich wollte die heute beim Auslaufen filmen, aber das Wetter war dann doch zu mies.
