Love the bat-reps and the chill vibes, but bringing an anti-infantry DG list vs an almost entirely mek/vehicle Ork list that is using the shooty Ork detachment on a board with virtually no LOS blocking terrain made for a prettttttttty lame game 😐

Ohhh boy, you guys have to check the rules before you play. That's not how contagion works, it only reduces the ws and bs if the enemy is within contagion range of the models (3'', 6'' or 9''), if you are shooting outside of the contagion range you are not affected by it.

I had a -1 to hit on several of the units he shot at! Though it didn't help whatsoever! Smoke, Cloud of flies, etc.

Luka.. Fights first isn't immediately at the start of the fight phase.. Its basically an applied state either from charging or a rule.. So each player swaps starting with the defender.. As Steve had went and they were now eligible to fight I believe your marines could have fought before the stompa

Orks: the only army that has a chance to shoot better with overwatch than with regular shooting. LOLOLOLOLOL ROFLMAO!! Great battle report. Orks are super nasty now. Many possible builds from their detachments, hard to counter them.

I used to watch mini wargaming everyday probably 2-3 videos a day just background hobby noise that helped keep me motivated.. are all of their videos going to their vault or has the quality and quantity really dipped?

Quantity has dropped as Steve spends most of his time at his own channel and the non GW games goes to the MWG second channel. They've also been remodeling the Bunker, and taking in less guests. But they also making a bunch of narrative stuff that they're planning to realise in the summer sometime

It does seem to me that if a list isn’t optimised to some extent it just doesn’t perform well. That said the Orks rolled over DG… with shooting… something orks are supposed to be notoriously bad at and have to do in huge volumes to have any serious effect… Steve’s dice need to be banned 😂

As a Heresy player, I like a lot of models. I'd be cool with it in 40K, too if the board were the same 4x6 and there weren't things like strategems that slow the game down.

Impressions before watching the video: Orks are at a big disadvantage due to taking that flyer.... Edit 1: None of the flyers are effected by the Dread Mob rules, which only effect Mek, Ork Walkers, and Grot Vehicle units.

When will you guys make a real DG list? Here is this dudes highly optimized (edit: not super optimized) ork list vs the models we could find for DG. DG is a very popular army. The surgeon? Slap me in the face! Blight lords? All DG models are good but those guys suck. One rhino, morty and infantry only list really sucks.

I wouldn't call the ork list highly optimized. A stompa is usually a gamble on whether it's useful. And the Wazbomb is not only a poor choice due to being a flyer, but isn't effected by the Dread Mob detachment at all (even though they ignored that for this game). I agree it's not the best DG list, though.
