I honestly thought it was mostly nostalgia that made me love the Legend of Spyro series as a kid, but it's actually surprisingly good. Well, in terms of the game actually having a good sense of humour with some actually funny jokes. Spyro is not a bad character, and so far he's been developed pretty well. I really came back to these just because I like Cynder so much, but Spyro and Sparx's friendship is, once again, surprisingly well-done. Sure, there's too much narration in the beginning, and some portions of it are generic. I don't really care for the combat either, but the story and characters, if nothing else, are quite good. Thanks for posting these. I just realised I had Dawn of the Dragon still, and I wanted to play it, but I'd forgotten the storyline of these games entirely. You're a great help.

I like this series for many reasons, but one in this game is that no two enemies have the same name. It's like they got together every day for an hour and came up with a thousand names to use in the game and made them enemy names. That's awesome!!!

While this is different from the original series, I'm coming to like like this game by watching it. I like how the story is all dark and I'm coming to love David Spade as Sparks XD

you know... First spyro games were totally different, fun stuff and all but this... I always were into lore and after read some fanart stories I decided to look at this because I'm not consolist at all. This game has a beautiful story background so I like it a lot

I like how they gave each enemy their own name, sure the names are downright ridiculous and I think I saw the same name twice, but it's a nice little concept.

@Pein8881 Well blame it on insomiac for losing their interest in Spyro. They said that they couldn't use Spyro anymore as his abilities were limited. And that's when Ratchet and Clank came in... -_- *sigh* It was obvious after the 3rd Spyro game that it would all go downhill. It was extremely obvious when they started to release the DS games. I have to admit, as a stand alone, it makes a good dragon game to me at least. Just not a Spyro game.
