You posted this an hour before I got mine, awesome! I could have done it myself, but it was definitely more fun to do it together with your easygoing guiding hand. Thanks Robin!

9:34 I kept pausing wondering if it was on my side, it seems we each have a cockerel crowing in the background. 35:35 That sounds great! It's got a nice reverb on it hasn't it. 50:43 Haha that reminded me of my childhood Casio SK1. This was an enjoyable watch, thank you.

Received mine... grateful they reissued this. Have built several of their kits. Dreadbox rocks! Most pleased.

I think even I could manage that one! Thanks, Robin! What a lovely sounding little box, as always from Dreadbox!

It just wouldn't ba a DIY without a crowing rooster. :)

I wish it had more CV ins, and especially tempo synced LFOs, ...but it's a keeper regardless. I don't find the reverb as epic as the tales of v1 wax poetic of, ...but it's a keeper regardless.

Routing rotaries and the mod root rotary have more postions than 4... You can litteraly turn them 360 deegres and they are always working somehow... It was totally tricky and i spent a lot of time trying to guess where is the correct positon for the knob. Finally, I used the manual - looking for specific routing behaviours step by step. When I found 2 correct in a row - I was pretty sure that's it... Some marks on those pots would be nice!

All my rotaries are restricted to the 4 positions. Suggest to open up and have a look at your rotary switches. Usually there's a kind of washer with a little spigot on it that limits the rotation.

@@livelooper Hmm... Interesting. Thanks for your reply. After i found those positions and everything works fine, I am not sure if want to mess with that... If something goes wrong... ordering parts, soldering etc.

I used to own an original Erebus. I mis that beast! This is also a nice one! The only doubts I have are the patch sockets. Is it possible to mount them on to the faceplate? Nice video!
@MoltenMusicTech6 күн бұрын
the patch sockets are already on the front panel
@jimivandebeek6 күн бұрын
@ oh i mean bolted to the faceplate. They only stick through the holes and are only soldered to the circuitboard.

Oh I see

The design of the sockets is for them to be attached to the pcb and just stick out the panel. Dreadbox believe in "structural soldering".

Only question I have is will this, a TipTop row power, and "modules to be named later" join my Moog stack?
