Hey Man, I wanna say thanks to you and your great work here. Especially this Video ( also the one with your patches on the Minilogue ) was a reason why I got a Minilogue XD Module in the end after thinking about it for a long time and watching even more Tuts and Soundsample Videos😮😬 The combination of gear you used here, somehow created the sound it needed to feel love on my side🤭🤗 You hit my musicaly emotions 💯 and still after listen to it for close to 50times I guess, it hits me every single time again. ❤ Thanks Bro ❤ I follow you since I found your channel some time ago and also on Soundcloud.😊 Did you ever bring this real melodic banger to an track besides this video, maybe on your Soundcloud??? If not, you really should. Even if you wanted a few bugs for it I would pay Big RESPECT from one act to another straight outta Germany ❤ GAS addiction and Techno for ❤

Kind regards from France ✌️

can you tell a bit about your workflow of producing this? is it like make the whole track in the daw and do the automation of the 3 synths manually? i'm very curious. i also like your textures, risers and build ups and stuff! where's the Cat? still got it?

Hello. It's very interesting to know, how you've connected all synths to Ableton and each other. Thank you
@bagheeramusic24524 жыл бұрын
I think he connected them via MIDI to his Ableton. Maby thru his Soundcard and in Ableton he has got some "external Instruments" to trigger the Crave, the Minilogue and the Dreadbox :)
@DYMTN4 жыл бұрын
That is true! The Crave and Minilogue Xd are connected via usb to the computer and the Typhon via midi cable to the interface!
@DJVanGhosted3 жыл бұрын
@@DYMTN how were you able to midi clock everything together? Especially since the dreadbox is going through your interface
@scottnelle2 жыл бұрын
@@DJVanGhosted The gear wouldn't need to be clocked together since it's all receiving midi from Ableton Live instead of using internal sequences. Ableton is sending the notes (and optionally, midi clock as well) directly to all devices simultaneously, so there's no chance for sync/tempo drift.

Thank you for this video, very well done and very informative. I would like to ask you a question concerning the purchase of a set but only hardware to compose techno / trance. I was thinking of taking an Analog Rythm MK2 and an Analog Four MK2, but I hesitate with a Roland MC 707 and a Tr 8S. In your opinion better Elektron or Roland or a mix of the two or the four as most certainly a very different sound palette and therefore complementary. I was planning to add an mb33 and a korg Monolgue Xd, Electribe 2 and Toraiz as-1 rack What do you think ? If you have other suggestions, do not hesitate to let me know. Thank you in advance for your reply.
@DYMTN4 жыл бұрын
If you want to produce without a computer I would go with the Elektron machines! The sequencers of these two are just amazing also I really love the analog sound engines! Plus they have so many amazing effects and performance tools built in that the possibility’s are almost endless! Only downside is that it can take a bit more time to master all the features they have to offer! I don't own these devices but I have seen people doing amazing songs with them 🙌
@PHOENIX-fb1cf4 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for your feedback and advice. Yes indeed they have infinite potential. By cons not at all easy to learn. Not really great ergonomics, but formidable potential.

I’ve been looking into buying my first synth and the minilogue xd and typhon are on my list, anyone have any suggestions or which one I should buy between the two?
@JeveMCD4 жыл бұрын
I think the big question is what do you want, a polysynth or a monosynth as your first machine? Minilogue XD module for poly, or Typhon for mono.
@pcuimac4 жыл бұрын
Buy a used Roland V-Synth!
@matstjean4 жыл бұрын
Both! But for a first try ... monosynth with sequencer with little menu diving like the Typhon is great IMO
@K.KILLORAN2 жыл бұрын
The XD is going to give you much more options and is amazing. I have both and wouldn’t ever sell either, so I would recommend both eventually, but starting out with the XD will give you a better set of capabilities. Both have built in FX, but start XD and once you master that get a TYPHON
