"In late Fall of 1997 I received a message on my answering machine (yes, the old ones with the cassette tape!) from a guy I only met once that said "I had a dream we we're playing music together in front of a huge crowd, let's hang out and jam", that guy was John Welton. This recording was the first time John & I got together to jam, no ideas, no plan, just improvisation which began our journey as Vegetable Matter and eventually we became Waterband!
