Dreadshade is garbage: A one trick pony with extremely low skill damage compared to other heroes, very short duration "stun" that doesnt even really prevent healing. Damage almost completely reduced by the slightest damage reduction or damage limit. Unable to attack while using his skill which also means other effects wont trigger sych as pets, insignias etc. At his best he can tank a bit. The only thing you get with this hero is 4 seconds of irresistable stun (provided you have the accuracy). Which isnt worth a spot on the team. Basically any hero can substitute dreadshades ability with nothing but a simple square insignia.

@@kazuyamishima3050 Ok, he's not the worst hero in the game but you have this GamingArt guy pretending every hero he makes a video about is the best thing ever. Dreadshade is garbage compared to how its hyped here. In reality I use him frequently because his one trick is kind of useful in some scenarios. He is popular because he is easy to get and relatively easy to acquire materials for. Dreadshade is basically a kicker: He helps other heroes kill stuff. There are alot of heroes in the game that can replace him in that role flutterfly, wraithbinder or even firedancer but they are harder to get and level up. Dreadshade got a huge backlash with the introduction of cyclonica aswell since Secure Armor is his lifeline. Wraith in particular is an extremely powerful option that, while he doesnt "freeze" enemies also prevents healing and has alot more going for him both defensively and offensively. A particularly interesting advantage over dreadshade is that he can attack while using his ability which means he can use the dragon set (and of course insight Insignia) to stun.
