I grew up mesmerized by my dad's blueprints. But it was the culture that I grew up that told girls were to become wives and dress the part of a homemaker. Why couldn't I be a home maker in civil engineering? Building infrastructures to help 3rd world countries raising my kids to rebuild their futures for people everywhere?

Thanks for sharing Laura. We are trying to change that stereotype for the next generation of engineers, and let all kids, regardless of gender or background that they can too be engineers (or anything they want!)
