For the launch date of the Marin Rift Zone 2023 model of the US American manufacturer, we present you a dream build of the trail bike.
The Marin Rift Zone is made for parties, no matter what you're in the mood for.
Your ideal partner for everything from all-day tours to local shred rounds and everything in between. The new Rift Zone has already won gold, with Marin-sponsored ambassador and all-rounder Martha Gill.
The Rift Zone aluminum models are new from the ground up for 2023, with more travel, fresh geometry, updated suspension kinematics and refined details. The range has also been aligned between 29- and 27.5-inch wheel sizes.
Series 3 aluminum frames with new tubes and forgings give the Rift Zone a new aesthetic with a shorter seat tube and lower standover than previous models. Cleverly soldered cable routing inlets and outlets
look great and prevent annoying rattling noises. Rear dropouts are now compatible with SRAM's UDH derailleur hanger. The Rift Zone has also become a quieter bike, with all-new chainstay and seatstay protectors with larger coverage. The ISCG mount and threaded bottom bracket cups remain. On the 29" and 27.5" models of the Rift Zone, suspension travel has been increased by 10 millimeters in the front and 5 millimeters in the rear, and is now
140 millimeters and 130 millimeters respectively, which clearly puts the bike in the trail category.
The 29- and 27.5-inch frames have the same geometric benchmarks: 65.5° head tube angle, 77° seat tube angle and 430 millimeter chainstays.
The Marin team has spent countless hours tuning the kinematics of the frame to achieve maximum performance with the current shocks on the market. In the process, Marin worked with engineers from Fox, RockShox and X-Fusion to tease the best performance out of the Rift Zone.
A key feature that has not changed is the Rift Zone range, with three 29- and 27.5-inch models each, and the 26-inch and 24-inch for the young rippers.

Die Aluminiumrahmen der Serie 3 mit neuen Rohren und Schmiedeteilen verleihen dem Rift Zone eine neue Ästhetik mit einem kürzeren Sitzrohr und niedrigerem Standover als bei den Vorgängermodellen. Geschickt eingelötete Kabelführungs Ein- und Ausgänge
sehen toll aus und verhindern störende Klappergeräusche. Hinten sind die Ausfallenden jetzt mit dem UDH-Schaltauge von SRAM kompatibel. Das Rift Zone ist auch ein leiseres Bike geworden, mit völlig neuen Kettenstreben- und Sitzstreben-Protektoren mit größerer Abdeckung. Die ISCG-Aufnahme und Tretlagerschalen mit Gewinde bleiben erhalten. Bei den 29"- und 27,5"-Modellen des Rift Zone wurde der Federweg vorne um 10 Millimeter und hinten um 5 Millimeter erhöht und liegt nun bei
140 Millimeter bzw. 130 Millimeter, was das Bike eindeutig in die Trail-Kategorie bringt.
Die 29- und 27,5-Zoll-Rahmen haben die gleichen geometrischen Eckdaten: 65,5°-Steuerrohr- und 77°-Sitzrohrwinkel sowie 430 Millimeter Kettenstreben.
Das Team von Marin hat unzählige Stunden damit verbracht, die Kinematik des Rahmens abzustimmen, um ein Maximum an Leistung mit den aktuellen Dämpfern auf dem Markt zu erreichen. Dabei hat Marin mit Ingenieuren von Fox, RockShox und X-Fusion zusammengearbeitet, um die beste Performance aus dem Rift Zone herauszukitzeln.
Ein wesentliches Merkmal, das sich nicht geändert hat, ist das Rift Zone-Sortiment mit jeweils drei 29- und 27,5 Zoll-Modellen, und dem 26 Zoll und 24 Zoll für die jungen Ripper.

I am digging the new frame wish was possible that Marin could sell the frame kit, this XR build must say quite impressed with the build, or would consider the Rift Zone 2 as I am unable to afford the high end stuff.

thats the normal bb tool for shimano which has nothing to do with the cranks. Do you want to change the bottom bracket or the cranks?
