Grip shift, interesting. I have not seen that used in a while. I personally never liked it but I had lots of friends that did. That is really cool how the internal routing of the cables comes out of the front of the bike. Some great insight into a brand I don't ever see here in Ontario, Canada.

They can actually be a great choice if you do marathon rides which feature a lot of techy sections. One should be sensible about the casing and compound, though. Doubledown can be really tiring on a long ride, Exo is great though.

Since you like to bathe every part of the bike with excessive amounts of grease, can I ask what is the brand of grease to use? The most general purpose type that can be used on almost every part of the bike. What type of compound or ingredient should I be looking out for if the particular brand cannot be found here in Malaysia

Not too much grease at all. Everywhere he used it is a good idea for later when the bike gets wet or will need to come apart easier. The grease he used in the handlebar stem was not grease, it was probably carbon assembly paste to help the stem grip the carbon fiber handlebar better.
