It had to be our Manitou Mezzer Sterling LE special edition fork as it is the perfect fork for a hard-hitting trail bike. We threw on a polished ProTaper MTB stem and matching bar, plus Reynolds TR309 wheels with custom silver graphics. Every time I watch one of these builds, with the shots/angles, the calming music, and how perfect everything seems to go together, it makes me think of the Romance movies my wife watches on Hallmark Channel. In the Hallmark Universe, everything is perfect, so this in a sense is a Romance movie, only for Mtn bikers.

Still cannot really comprehend how the tubeless fluid goes through the cushcore and on the inner tyre. Is there a hole in the cuschore that you can match on top of the valve? I have zero experience in the cushcore matter, I'm running the plain tubeless setup. It just seems intriguing.

They not volume spacers. They travel reducers. All mezzer off the shelf can be adjusted internally without buying extra stuff. He reduced the travel.

@@HamzaFaruqui lol yea manitou does things differently. For example they don’t have volume spacers at all. They don’t need them. They use a separate air chamber that does the same job and guess what, you only need a shock pump! Amazingly tuneable stuff.

How do you like the Manitou fork? I was thinking about getting one to replace my stock RS 35 Gold RL, I like the RS forks, but I’m in Australia and to get a pike or Lyrik is bordering on prohibitively expensive. Ditto Fox or Ohlins. I’ve seen the Mezzer Pro go for a few hundred less than the Lyrik, and it seems like a decent fork according to most reviews, but I’ve yet to talk to anyone with real-world experience on them.
