That wax apple is called as water apple also put it in some a well draining region it grows pretty well also fertilise heavily. I had mine planted at the end of water waste from kitchen. It lived it grew very well

I just worked out where you are. Got a cuz that lives in Cairns. We came in on a cruise and have 8 hours to drive around the table lands. I don’t know if we came far enough south on the way back to the boat. Will definitely give you a heads up when we head up that way again.

Not sure if you've been to the Daintre ice creamery or not..but they make their own ice cream flavoured with whatever fruit they have in season and it's amazing! Coconut and wattle seed is my favourite. Could be an idea for you guys if you do happen to have an overwhelming amount of crop 🤷♂️

Eat the cumquats with their skin on, it stops a lot of the extreme sour! Plus you don’t have to bother with peeling!
