Reminds me of Old Man of the Mountain collapsing in New Hampshire where I live. Iconic state symbol. Beautiful water in the video. Loved the waves and the color.

Thanks Heidi, glad you like it. Sure was an incredible day! Always sad when those type of things collapse, no going back and now just a rock rather than a natural monument.

Wow, wow wow!!! That inland diving site was brilliant, then throw in the cave tunnel out to the sea - spectacular!!! Such a shame that so many of the arches have collapsed, I bet that area once upon a time were even better, but really sad to think about the impact its had on the businesses I'd be inclined to agree with you that at least some will have closed down! The footage of the snake blew my mind, you did so well to get it coming out of that hole. Did you know it was in there, and do you know what type of snake it was?
@MattWhitingsEurope3 жыл бұрын
Yes it was spectacular to see it! Shame I didn't get a calmer day as I may have taken a boat ride through the tunnel and up the coast a bit! I really wish I could have seen the Azure Window but it was still good to see the second lesser-known one. Who knows how long it will be standing! Reference the snake, I had seen something moving about and went down for a closer look. That's when it came out of the wall and slithered away! Pretty cool. I'm not 100% sure what kind of snake it was but my best guess would be a young Western Whip Snake. They're on the island and although black, the younger ones can be lighter in colour. I'm sure glad I didn't see an fully grown one!

So chilled and not as busy as Malta now. How Malta used too be before the EU took over
@MattWhitingsEurope Жыл бұрын
I see. Malta is definitely very popular with the tourists, especially the Brits I found. Good to know there’s still some less touristy places to enjoy.

@MattWhitingsEurope3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ibrahim, Malta is a small island just south of Sicily in the Mediterranean Sea. It's a spectacular place to visit as you can see! It can be a little windy but the scenery and history more than makes up for it. Hope you are staying safe out there.

Hi.. Thanks for the video. How comfortable is driving in malta and Gozo and parking situation.
@MattWhitingsEurope3 ай бұрын
You’re welcome. I found driving fairly straight forward, the main thing to remember is that if anyone is rushing you just pull over and let them pass. Some of the roads can be narrow and windy but no worse than what you get in most countries including the UK. Parking was alright but it was towards the end of the season, I would say that in the summertime it might be quite troublesome to park in some places.
