Oh just shut the fuck up, TVD will never be as meaningful as this song is. TVD is just a show, like Game of thrones. Yes, it might be good in your opinion, but its fucking fantasy. This song expresses reality in a remarkable way that is second to none. I don't hate TVD, but this song is art while TVD is just a show whose only purpose is to gain money. Connecting with our deeper thoughts and wishes is WAYYYY more important for our life than being entertained. Finally, this song was made in 2015, whereas TvD only used it in 2017.
