Dream Lake - Washington State

To dream of being there, not as in one’s imagination but as in body and soul. So very close, close by all those who pass by far far below. The masses from the bustling city so unaware of your pristine beauty and solace. To toil and sweat, climbing forward ever higher as the layers and thickets of the living part. Over through and around giant granite boulders and walls too vast to grasp. Dream Lake really does exist but only for those very few with both the fortitude and wisdom to reach your towering cliffs and crystal-clear shores.

I am more than impressed that you added this to your already large number of difficult destinations. I have bushwhacked all over the Middle Fork valley but this hike has intimidated me. Maybe this year I'll finally get there. But I don't think you'll need to worry about too many people following this route 🙂

A bit of a scrum getting there, but worth it. I did plenty of bushwhacks in my younger days, the kind that made serious leather gloves a necessity getting through the delightful Devil's Club. Can't say it always was fun, but the payoff usually made it worthwhile. Nice video.

I’ve been wanting to go up to this lake for quite a few years and I was always wondering if there was a Trail.I followed a little trail for about 50 yards and figured it must go to the lake but I turned back.One of these days I will make it up there beautiful lake thank you for sharing this video
