Maybe if you get the pay dirt wet first before you slice, it should collect better.

When it comes to running a cleanup sluice tou shouldnt be running the material dry or un-classified. Even using a surfactant fine gold will still float when run dry

It really took me out of it. Really makes me question his “professional” advice. The “plop” is kinda meaningless when you’re running dry

Maybe a piece of punch plate over part or all of it if you’re running non-classified? Just a thought….

I agree with the other commenters that it should be pretty wet before you put it in and something else you did was told us not to slap it down in there and then you do it with the pan don't do that
