"Most people, they raise a family, they earn a living, and then they die." -- So? What's wrong with raising a family and making a living? This whole idea that you are supposed to always stay hungry, alway keep pushing yourself, is messed up, in my opinion. I, for one, have never heard of anyone on their deathbed wishing they had worked harder in life. But I have heard of plenty of people on their deathbed wishing they had not worked as hard as they did, and instead spent more time with their friends and family. But of course, saying, just relax and stop running, doesn't sell quite as well.

@@ruairibreathnach4511 How do you define "making something of your life"? Sure, people who spend their entire lives as bums might have some regrets. But if you make an average living as a decent member of society and spend your life as a loving parent without causing too much harm to anyone, in my book you have achieved quite a bit. There are plenty of studies that show, and plenty of psychologists and doctors who point out, that the best predictor for your health and wellbeing is your relationships.

@@zervalu6313 ofc relationships and family are more important than something like rugby and not achieving anything out of the ordinary is absalutely fine but the point is if you have a dream that you really want but you dissmised it because you thought it was too ambitious. You will regret that alot of people dont have a dream and thats fine but aslot of people do and dont go for it because of fear of failure and you will regret that for the rest of your life.

I argue that a world in which the majority of people is mostly concerned with raising a family and making a living is a better world than one in which everyone is mostly concerned with fame and glory.
