God the BODY LANGUAGE IS SO ON POINT mmmm it’s so good, and the expressions are so good??? The part where Wilbur grabs Tommy’s face and says “were fucked we were fucked the moment we got thrown out” and it zooms out and you see tommy grasping Wilbur’s wrist while Wilbur is still holding his face? Fucking terrifying and heart wenching when you notice tommy hands shaking when it zooms in on them- And I just adore the change in Schlatts’ pose when he says “A new era” “of peace” ITS JUST SO GOOD AND CONVEYS SO MUCH YA KNOW?? All the poses just convey so much of their character? And all of wilbur’s poses at any given time just *sells* his dramatics and mMMMM 💘💞💖💕💗

My little sister sent me this video to show me the kind of stuff her favorite streamers get up to. Not gonna lie, I teared up when the two kids started talking about running away. Hearing one child tell another not to give up on a crazed, dangerous adult that they used to depend on-that’s just gutwrenching. Every other older person watching this knows what I mean; there’s nothing worse than seeing children take up responsibilities that they should never even have been involved with. Lil sis has assured me that this is pretty dramatized, and considering how much mad cackling I hear from her bedroom, I’m assuming this is much more dramatic that the actual events (it’s Minecraft!). It’s still very impressive, though, that even in such a simplistic medium, theater like this can still take shape.

Honestly, Willbur has just proven, that J'Schlatt was right to banish him. I mean, people don't really give him enough credit, Schlatt IS the smartest person on the server. The moment Techno joined the server, he instantly came up with a plan to destroy any trust between him and the other rebels. The moment he became the president, he knew exactly who needs to be banished to secure his rule. The moment he was killed by Technoblade together with Tubbo and Quackity, and Tommy jumped in, he knew exactly what was the best course of action: "Everybody go after Tommyinnit!" Unless Manberg gets blown up, or Dream bans him from the server, Schlatt IS going to win.

The way you animated and added the music made this so intense. I could feel Tommy's fear and hear it tremble in his voice, especially after 1:11, where Wilbur exploits and manipulates Tommy's emotions so effectively. I can feel Wilbur's desperation. Nothing unsettles me more than the way Wilbur ruffles Tommy's hair at 1:44. It's all done so well. I could point out the symbolism, colors, all that, but I don't even know where to start. This is so good. I honestly think this animatic captured the intensity and horror of Wilbur's turn better than any others. You made me notice things about Tommy's reactions, too, which the visuals helped. You showed the blatant emotional manipulation. All the stuff with Dream and Tubbo, Wilbur being in control of the situation, Tommy's internal confluct, it's all so good. I can't give enough praise.

The fact that Wilbur is AWARE that he will forever be remembered as a traitor to his country, even though he was once a leader, a brother figure, and a friend, he secured his role as a traitor the day he blew up the country. Wilbur knowing and telling Tommy how important he is, and how everyone is watching his greatness as he goes. Tommy still seeing Wilbur as not just some traitor but a leader, hero, his brother. The fact that Wilbur salutes Tommy one final time, a salute that shows respect, and a goodbye. This is Wilbur and Tommy's way of saying "Make me proud" and "I will." This could also support the theory that Tommy is lying to Dream to make him bring back Wilbur, Tommy knows that Wilbur wants him to do the right thing and to bring peace, to sing his unfinished symphony, and Tommy plans to sing it with him.
