When I saw this I was like "Scp and- oh boy is it glitchtale as well? Those are the two most developed storylines" and no it isn't bad of you to ask this!! I'll gladly tell you.

So SCP!Dream is a storyline I've been posting on a discord server for fun, if it'd interest you(and others) I could start putting the parts together and making videos of it! And since that one I've got a story for a couple friends out there, I don't want them to know everything that's going on with dream but I'll say this, he's got some trauma(like a lot of other in that au).

And the Glitchtale au is a small thing I've been doing with songs. What's happened there is that Loli(nightmare) came to a nice town full of almost all monsters and a select few humans. Dream introduced himself to Loli and then to the others there as well. Loli was, happy! However, loli had other plans to happen. Like in glitchtale(but not really done much with) souls exis. So, Loli had come from a town he had destroyed all the monsters in and he wanted to destroy all the monsters(was originally just dreamons) in existence. To which he got into a massive fight with dream and at some point dream was about to get killed but George stepped in the way of it and took the kill. (George is hooman). At some point during the battle, dream was having flashbacks and then loli killed him. He not is in the ghost realm with George and Tommy and he's happy he gets to be with his boyfriend. Some backstory of Glitchtale!Dream- Him, George, and Sapnap were all really good friends together. At some point dream and George started dating an Sapnap found it cute! However Sapnap eventually started to feel like a third wheel and so he left off to go back to his warm home in the nether. So dream and George said their goodbyes and continued their lives doing different things together. Dream has a few blue things that George gave him as lovey dovey gifts and he held them really dear to him after George died, for as long after as he lived from that.

It's an au where there's a hidden meaning in the names that they chose to put. For instance dreamwastaken. Dream was kidnapped as a child and it was extremely traumatic, to which his mental state/being when he goes to sleep or shuts his eyes for too long(or whenever) he 'wakes up' thinking he's still there and, he had escaped with George, he tries to attack George. Thinking he's one of the people whom was there since that state still thinks he's there in a way(hence why he almost attacked Michael).
