This song carries a new meaning since 2 days,unfortunately.The man that first introduced me to this music,my best friend of 25 years,has died. My dear dear John. He used to wear a bullet around his neck and I had it engraved with his name for his birthday a couple of years ago.Because of this song. He thought it was one of the best gifts he ever received.The chain broke last year,so tomorrow I have to look for it among his belongings. I,m so very sad,but the music will help me cope.

Wow! Many, many years ago I had this record. I played it again and again. For me there was/ is still something magic in this song. Throught the years I lost this record. I don`t know, why this title " the bullet had my name..." enterd my mind. Never ever rememberd this song - now I found it at the first try. What a happy day today. Thanks for your music, tanks for posting.

@hildaatje requiescat in pace (rest in peace) for your friend. I think I can understand how you should feel, because few months before a cancer took away a dear friend of mine. Since childhood we grew up listening and discovering time by time great music, and playing a band too. Surely music will help you to cope. Best wishes.

And I'm glad to hear you are slowly getting over the loss. I know the feeling.
