I just can't get into this solo. It sounds to me like Petrucci was just doing everything he could to avoid copying his solo from Budokan which was so badass and well done that it sounded very much like it was written and not improvised(that could very well be the case). Still a great version of the song though

Nah you can notice the movements of LaBrie and the pressure that it looks like he gives his voice. LaBrie wasnt re-recorded, I also know a friend who saw it live. LaBrie sounds amazing here too dunno why people are getting worked up. He's recovered

Why critique James LaBrie so much? I think his voice is beautiful for a band that has so much diversity in its style and sound. He might have a few hitches here and there, but afterall, he's human too. While instruments can be maintained or tuned similiarly everytime, or be replaced with a new one, a human's voice can't. Just cut him some slack, and enjoy the awesome performance as a whole :)

LaBrie sang amazing in Budapest on 1st July. Literally, his voice was perfect. I don't feel, that he is the weakpoint of DT. He is a great singer, and we know, he had accident in 1994. Watch the Awake tour in Japan 1995. James's voice is much much better now ...

I"m not someone who normally cares since the music is incredible, but that beard is hands down the worst thing I've ever seen on Petrucci. I thought he looked way better cleaned up on the G3 videos. I know this makes me seem retarded, so I'll just keep listening to his playing until my head explodes. Fair trade off.

i've watched score countless times and really its my favourite concert dvd but still i think labrie's parts were re recorded and given a little studio magic. i also noticed some parts where his mouth was not at the mic, but there was voice. weird... but still that dvd and the albums are where he sounds great. in bootlegs etc he always sounds like this. his voice really is on the downhill...

+Psidium In my opinion he was amazing. That final part, including the drum leading beat has some kind of joyful air in it and I think Rudess keys solo in the end made it even happier. You can see that in the musicians face while they are ending the song. Well, that's what I think.
