I went to the last dream theater world tour, a show in Fortaleza Brazil, during a 15 minutes break they put a master visual showing interviews, backstage scenes and this kind of things, well Tina S appears in that video. Some of the best guitarists in the world, who have been playing decades longer than she has, would readily admit that they cannot perform some of the same feats on the fretboard that she can. She is a once in a lifetime virtuoso on the guitar. The combination of her talent, feel, speed, accuracy, dexterity and complexity is truly a gift from God. I know we’re not supposed to say this, but she's performing these covers better than some of the guitar legends who wrote them.

There is a special beauty, power, and excitement in Tina's version that puts her into the category of potential "greats". She is technically excellent, but it's that special quality that is particularly exciting. I personally hear it in all her video posts, and it keeps me going back for more. There are hundreds of shredders, some quite good, but those who think that getting all the notes and rhythms right and doing it simply as it is "supposed" to be done will make them great...think again. Tina has a very rare quality...I am convinced. (I don't think Tina could post an uninteresting video if she tried! :-) )
