Whenever it does come time for DT to retire, I can totally picture them doing this but with Mike Mangini, Derek Sherinian and (possibly) Kevin Moore as special guests on some songs. One thing is for sure, though: I'm sure the drum kit will be much bigger and will be a 2-in-1 kit kind of deal to make the switchouts less awkward.

Poor James his voice is gone. Like gone, gone. I saw them 9 and 11 years ago and it was way more there. Age is the shits.

2010-2014 was the high point for him of the last decade and a half. It's more his high range that he struggles with. His mid and low range really doesn't sound too different from 30 years ago besides being a bit darker (typical with aging).
