I personally feel that dreams are essentially your thought, but your brain putting it into a metaphor. When I practice mindfulness meditation, I've noticed it's a lot like putting yourself into a position where you try not to fall asleep -- but still generate vivid images. What I've come down to is that, whatever goes up in the brain allows you to sharpen your creative thought and physical sensations. Thank you for the great video!! Peace!

I'll be dreaming about physics 😂 I came up with the fractal theory in my sleep. I never heard of the fractal theory until that day and after I woke up I did my research on it.

He never touches upon past, present and future simultaneously and in dreams how we have access to all 3 at the same time. Nor does he explain how you can go to the past in a dream as you are, go back before you were born and use information to change the present in this 3d physical reality. I know because i have experienced it many times.

The Activation - Synthesis Hypothesis part troubled me a bit. Even if our brain is merely interpreting random outside stimuli, there must be some sort of reason or meaning as to HOW stimuli is interpreted, or WHAT it is interpreted as in someone's dream sequence. If someone was sleeping and a loud thumping sound took place, their minds may associate that loud thump with gunshots, because they could have experienced some remarkable and impressionable event in their life which featured loud guns. The mind synthesizes, or derives meaning for the stimuli from unconscious complexes, mechanisms, and experiences.
