Honestly face reveals shouldn't be hyped up so much or expected. When I saw his face I thought "guess thats what he looks like" and forgot about it the next hour. It really isn't that big of a deal and shouldn't be. This need of a face reveal puts so much pressure on the creator for no reason. The reveal is only exciting for the first day. You don't care anymore afterwards. But still people put so much pressure on, even expecting you to look a certain way. Idk that's how I see it

Yeah I can’t imagine it’s great for the guys mental health. The bright side is that it’ll blow over in a couple days and he’ll be able to make a lot more content aside from Minecraft

i personally think even if he had been as handsome as people wanted him to be he wouldve still had a very similar reaction. i think from the moment your fanbase is imagining you as a hot anime boy anything you actually are is bound to be below what people imagine. that he isnt as handsome as people expected i think is just an unfortunate bonus

I do feel bad for dream aswell, as a victim of mob mentality from toxic relationships I can sort of understand what its like to be clowned on by the internet (even though I was basically bullied off a certain social media platform it kinda doesnt compare to this).
