Gutted that CJ has left the band. For me, her vocals were amazing. I hope she starts again with another band. The new song is good, relatively in line with previous songs. Look forward to hearing what else they will release in the new form.

I think the biggest problem with this new vocalist is that she's clearly trying to be CJ. The rasp, the sort of eccentric dance moves, and even some of the theatrics. I sort of got the vibe that CJ was done with music, though. Hope I'm wrong.

Really happy with the new vocalist, But also gutted about CJ leaving still, Its hard to not have any new music from her again, I dont think shes going to make a new one, Shes prioritizing life over this. So your take is she should be a CJ cosplayer. Fun fact: This band did 13 million views on one song. And since then, their label support has questioned whether that was legit or a fluke and they were under a ton of pressure to replicate that success. Which, to be blunt, they didn't do. Which means CJ decides to leave and instead of people supporting the same band with a new and (more) distinct vocalist, half of the fans have this shitty little opinion. It's fine. You have a tiny little box that your tastes have to fit into, like you have any real opinion, listening to them for free on KZbin 🤷

Im interested to see where that go with it. bands often do EPs with new vocalists. They want to try things out. And they dont want the financial risk of comitting to an album whilst smoothing the writing styles out. They also want to test the response. Its also likely without touring the money ran out over covid. I saw these guys for the first time live maybe 5-6 years ago at a UK festival and they won me over then and alot if that was the sincerity and the emotion of CJs performance. And that is something very very fucking hard to replicate. I dont expect her to be a "cosplay" because frankly that would be a disaster. You just cant imitate something so raw. And with that Im expecting a change of style to play to her strengths. Doesnt mean everyones going to like it.
